Ashley Perea is an associate in the Litigation Department of Hastings & Hastings, P.C., in the central Phoenix office. She focuses her practice on personal injury litigation. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Association.

Ashley performed her undergraduate work at the University of Arizona and received her Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. She was a Managing Editor of Arizona State Law Journal. Her publications include Broad Discretion: A Choice in Applying Offensive Non-Mutual Collateral Estoppel, 40 Ariz. St. L.J. 1145 (2008).

Ashley is a former judicial extern of the Honorable George H. Foster at Maricopa County Superior Court and the Honorable John C. Gemmill at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division I. Additionally, she was selected to extern for both Governor Janet Napolitano and Governor Jan Brewer in the Governor of Arizona’s Office of General Counsel and is now licensed in the United States Federal District Court of Arizona.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and taking her dog Tucker on walks with her fiancee.
